Leah Koenig, MSPH

Data Analyst

Leah Koenig is a Data Analyst for studies that examine novel methods for expanding abortion access. She supports work led by Dr. Ushma Upadhyay, including the California Home Abortion by Telehealth and Missed Period Pill studies. Prior to ANSIRH, Leah was research faculty at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in the Department of Population, Family, and Reproductive Health. She has expertise in data analysis, research management, and survey design. Leah’s research interests include sexual and reproductive health inequities, abortion, gender, and social epidemiology. 

Leah is currently a PhD student in the Epidemiology and Translational Sciences Program at UCSF. She holds a BA in Social Studies from Wesleyan University and MSPH in Sexual & Reproductive Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
